Our mission is to help students become active in the professional library community before graduation. The Chapter also acts as a liaison between library school students and the Canadian Library Association (CLA).

There is no cost to being involved with the student chapter and you don't need to be a CLA member to participate. Click here to learn about different student chapter projects that need your help (.pdf 61 KB).

The CLA Student Chapter is a good way to get your feet wet with professional associations. Getting involved isn't just about giving your time. Participating in the Student Chapter will help you learn new skills and discover the professional library world.
